I had a dream that I went to my boyfriends house.
I went and sat down in a chair with him and then he turned looked at me laid his head on my shoulder and just started crying. The whole dream.
I have never seen him cry.
What does my dream mean?

I need to know more than just that. So, if you can, please tell me what age-group, career, and how long you've been together. You could be having fears for him or yourself subconsciously - so the more information, the better.

Most people will tell you that dreams don't mean much, but I feel differently about it because I have had dreams where what I dreamt actually was happening, so it depends on how one perceives them.

Get back with us... but don't be surprised if this post gets moved out of the Relationship Section unless it concerns your relationship more than the dream does.

Maybe he's hurting inside?

Or maybe it means that he wants to open up to you

Or maybeeeeeeeee he's going to open up to you

Or maybe it's just a dream, not all dreams mean things

There's lots of different meanings behind your dream

I believe it means you spent that day thinking about how much you wish your man showed his feminine side to you more often.

If you are going to try and interpret a dream, remember that the dream is always about something relating to YOU and YOUR needs, even when the cast of characters seem to indicate otherwise. They are YOUR dreams, not his.

As far as I know crying in dreams is a very good thing in my culture, reflects a rest from something that was a burden over someone's shoulder, here you go:

Cry

To dream that you are crying, signifies a release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself. Your dream is a way to regain some emotional balance and a way to safely let out your fears and frustrations. In our daily lives, we tend to ignore, deny, or repress our feelings. But in our dream state, our defense mechanisms are no longer on guard and thus allow for the release of such emotions.

To see someone else crying in your dream, may be a projection of your own feelings onto someone else. If you do not cry in your waking life, then seeing someone else cry may be a little easier to deal with then seeing yourself cry.

To wake up crying, represents some suppressed hurt or previous trauma that is coming up to the surface. You can no longer suppress these emotions. They need to be dealt with head on.

To dream that no one hears or responds to your cries, represents your helplessness and difficulties and frustrations in trying to communicate with others. You feel that your words are falling on deaf ears. Perhaps your dream is telling you to be more vocal and work harder to get your point across.
