I have a Noma Thermostat 52-2558-8. My heat works fine but it will not start my AC outside.
I switched back to the manual style and it works fine.
I have 5 wires coming out of my wall. Blue, Green, Yellow, White, and Red. My question is. Before I added this new programmable thermo I had a manual one, but the blue wire was not in use. Therefore, I decided not to connect it again to the new one using the 4-wire heating/cooling diagram. Can anyone tell me if I need this blue wire connected to control the cooling properly?
Any suggestions.
