This happened probably in December.
Every night I always wake up around the same time 3am. One night I woke up and looked at my clock and it was 3:23am and I heard music playing I couldn't quite make out the words I thought why would my brother be playing music this late? If I could hear it my room wouldn't my parents hear it to and tell him to turn it down. As I listened closer I noticed it was coming from my laptop which was laying on the floor, I didn't know how this could be because my laptop has the feature where when you shut it it automatically shuts off, it also has a latch like all other laptops and the latch was looked. Not really believing what I thought I reached down and started playing with the volume button sure enough the music was coming from my laptop. I turned it up and listened the song was the devil's right hand by steve earle that really freaked me out. I turned down the volume and turned facing my wall to freaked out just waiting for something to happen. A few seconds later I heard my door opening and footsteps. I didn't turn around I was to scared. I don't know when I fell asleep or how long it took after that but when I woke up my dog rex was laying beside my bed. It was him who came in and slept in my room last night. This part puzzled me the most. When rex(my dog) got neutered my mom told me he could sleep in my room from then on I was thrilled. But it didn't last long he always cried to go out. That was about 3 months ago so why would he have come in my room now. Did he sense I was scared? Or did he think there was someone in my room? And how could he have gotten my door open? Do you think this is freaky, or am I just really crazy?
Ps: rex now sleeps in my room every night.

I do believe animals sense, see or hear things we may not. It is possible rex sensed you being scared and came to comfort.
It could also mean that whatever was in your room was not scary to rex, which is why he was not scared to come in.

Isn't it possible for Rex to have gotten the door open?Has he ever done that?
We once had a cat who could actually jump up at the door handle and grab it, sometimes the door would open much to his delight.:)

To shut my door I have to lift the knob until it clicks, otherwise rex could just push it open with his head, but I always used to shut my door right before rex started sleeping in my room, and my mom always checked if it was shut before she went to bed to.

Animals are smart like that! (hes so cute I c tha pic) I used to live in FL and I had this cat and she would just sit on my chest all night long staring at the front door (well the wall right next to the front door) she wouldn't even go to sleep she was just sitting there all night alert.. like something was standing there. But I wasn't scared because I had my Kitty (and yes her name was Kitty) lol =) ANd also she only did it when I slept in the living room never when I slept in my room!

Also I've heard around a lot that a lot of people think that spirits can contact us through wi-fi!
