Okay, Im about 17, and I've been on the depo shot for nearly a year, and off it for 4 or 5 months. In the months I've been off depo, I have not had any periods at all.

Also, its kind of embarrassing, but, When I do have any sort of intercourse (Even when I just use a vibrator or something to do this... ) And I Orgasum, I don't... I bleed. Like blood blood, and I know that I'm it out and its not just a period because that's the only time it happens and after an hour or so, there is no more bleeding. It's been happening for more than half a year.

Another odd thing that's been happening is Lactation of my left breast. The other one is fine... but the left is allot smaller, and leaks off white substance that looks like breast milk when you squeeze or pinch the nipple.

Also, pregnancy tests, multiple ones in doctor offices, come back negative, not pregnant.

Im getting help on it right now

But my question is... what do you think this is?

Kitty_kat, I have a question. Are you on another form of birth control? Such as the pill? I have known two women who have taken the pill, have not been pregnant, and found themselves to be lactating. They both changed the type of pill they were using. As for the depo shot... not having your period for almost a year changes your body. You may be bleeding during sex or masturbation because your vagina is dry. I know that the depo shot makes you gain weight and for some women when they gain a certain amount of weight they no longer have their period. Our bodies are so interesting. There could be so many answers but it is great that you are seeing a doctor. No matter how embarrassed you may feel always keep seeing him or her.

No, I've only taken the depo shot, and yeah, I'm terribly embarrassed about what's going on, but I know it could be serious, so I'm trying to get the help. But yes, I am overweight, 212 is my weight and I'm 5'7, so that sounds like it could have something to do with my problem. My body just confuses me, and I'm looking for answers , but thank you, I really do appriciate your information, It eases my mind a little, until I go back to my gyno.

You say you are getting help, and I certainly hope so. Don't risk your health and your life on internet answers.

As long as the breast discharge is milky and not brown or discolored, I don't think you have anything to worry about. My wife had the same thing happen to her a few years ago when she was in her early twenties. However, you should still get an expert opinion.

I think the weight is an issue because this can really upset menstruation as well as lactation. The re seems to be a hormonal change-the bleeding and lactation seem to point toward this-however get your blood checked for hormonal balance/imbalances I'd say you are between hormonal issues, also around 17 your age could be a small factor.
