I don't know much about dog dental care, however I do brush my puppys teeth regularly. I have two maltese's and ones 10 months and the others 9 months. The older one lost all her baby teeth, however the 9 month old has the two front top, the two front bottom, and I think one of the bigger ones in the bottom back. Theses dogs aren't actually mine, there my moms and I told her that the dogs teeth need to be looked at but someone told her to wiggle the teeth that need to come out maybe there just stuck, but I don't know if it works that way or if that's good advice. Just looking for some advice on this if someone could help. I think she should be taken right away to be looked at, or am I just over reacting?

Occasionally puppy teeth fail to come out and need the attention of a vet, maybe a specialist. It is not a rush thing. When was the last time either one saw the vet, 6 months for rabies? If the teeth wiggle, likely they will eventually fall out. Are these the canines that are usually about the last to come out? Are the adult teeth in and properly located? I would like to see the teeth looked at before the 9 month old is in for her one year checkup.
My daughter got away with emailing a picture of her Augen's teeth to a specialist.

They looked terrible 6 weeks earlier and the vet thought he would need orthodontic work. They turned out good enough. You can see sort of a groove in the upper gum from the lower canine.

Hi,
I would have your Vet look at the teeth that haven't come out yet; get his/her opinion on it.
Also, here is a great site pertaining to puppy teeth, dog teeth, and the care of teeth with explanations:

I do wish you the best, and good luck.
