Whenever I am forced to pick a movie I can't, I look at the movie and just when I am about to put it on, I think of a better movie and then I can't pick that one!
People are now getting annoyed at my indesivness. Its weird because when I am in a group and something I get the job done FAST. But whenever its on me and only me, I get all indesive. Please, help.

If you have trouble picking out a movie to watch, just close your eyes and point, and watch that one.
Indeciveness can be good sometimes... just learn when it's appropriate.

My husband is the same way! Yes, it does drive me nuts!
His problem came from low self-esteem--always afraid of making the WRONG choice. "What will ppl think?". All I can tell you is if the choice is on you people trust your choice, there is no wrong.
What I do to help him is narrow down the selection. If we are going out to eat I will ask "R U hungry for burgers or tacos" --"OK do you want to go Here or There" If he can't make the choice I choose. Over time it has gotten better----although, looking at a menu that is a whole nother story!

Hi chinucuuamomma
I sometimes close my eyes and pick but yet again, I'll say "thats a stupid movie" or "i don't want to watch it"
And shellly I do feel sometimes like I'll make the wrong choice, so your saying there is no wrong choice. Even if people around me may not like the thing (movie or somtyhing)?

Mix your two methods into one and you're good. Pick the movies you can't decide between, then close your eyes and grab one of THEM randomly.
This the method my wife and I use every time we rent a movie at Blockbuster. We pick a bunch we like, then randomly grab a couple out of the pile.

Even if the movie u end up watching is stupid who cares--you've wasted $3 on worse things! And you have learned never to rent that movie again! Besides it comes down to having fun with your friends while picking out the movie, watching the movie and then talking about how stupid the movie was. In the end it is the time that is spent with yourfriends that matters not the quality of the movie.

I used to have problems making decisions because I was afraid that people would laugh at me for making the wrong decision but then I realized my indecisive behavior was more annoying and "un-cool" than picking the wrong thing. Just be yourself. In the end, that's what really matters. (and it's the "cool" thing these days)
God bless.

A lot is a matter of self contol, you have to decide, before you go in, that you will do a pick. So when you pick up, and start to worry, just decide to watch the other one next time
