To whom it may concern:

Recently I had someone replace a thermostat. My heat worked sometimes but sometime I had to keep resetting the furnace in order for the heat to stay on. The pilot light would not stay lite. But the furnace came on and off when the temperature went below the set temp. on the thermostat.

Now that it is hot, the air will not come on at all. I've tried changing fuses to no avail and don't know what could be wrong. There is no power or anything. Did the person who installed the thermostat do something wrong? If I could I would call them back to see if they can troubleshoot what they did, but I can't get in contact with them. It's hotttt. We need to find a solution ASAP. Please respond to me because its very very hot in my house.

Thank you

Please call a qualified contractor. Since you do not know anything about what is actually going on it is your best bet to get it fixed properly. It is possible the last person who worked on your system made errors preventing it from operating correctly.
