Does anyone know if laws state now that when you come off workmans comp will they give you a settlement? Or is it that you are on workmans comp all the time especially if it's a life long injury? Thanks

It all depends on what your final settlement is. Every injury is different, every case is different.

Do you have an attorney? If not, I would suggest you get one.

Many injuries have maximums depending on state law. Normally workers comp values various parts of the body as having certain values, up to and including death. Then you have the issues of loss of work, and disability.
If you are going to be disabled they will also be expecting you to be filing for your state disability. Also depending on what the injury is, can you perform any type of work, if not your old occupation.

Also it can take years to reach a settlement at times
