I am currently working for Company X, and filed my H1b through a consultant for year April 2008 and my consultant says that the petition has been selected in lottary.

Now my current employer wants me to travel on L1 (Blanket Petition).. I will be appearing for L1 visa interview this month, The approved H1 will effect my L1 visa interview ? Or If I granted L1 now, will it effect my selected H1 petition ?

Should I mention the visa officer about the H1 petition?. Please advice..

If you already got the result of H-1B, it would be better not to jeopardize this matter by taking L-1. Were all theses filed by the same company?

L1 B is from my current employer. H1B is from another another employer.
