I bot a pfister(Treviso 808dc)... to replace my tub valve body. The problem: the hot/cold water inlets of the pfister do not align with my incoming hot/cold pipes. Whereas the pfister has the outlet and inlets 'together' my outlet is behind the inlet-incoming hot/cold pipes-(about 2.5 inches). My existing valve body is 10 yrs old.
Two other questions:(1) Does pfister or are there any other brand that is compatible with my valve?
(2) What do I do to solve this problem? Is it possible to use,for example, 'S' connectors? Are there S connectors available? What connectors do you recommend?

Sharvani, I see you are new to AMHD so you probably did not know you can start your own post by clicking on ASK. When you jumping into someone else's post it can confuse us old farts. By the way, you will need to cut out some of the old piping and repipe to fit the pfister, its just like Moen and most of the rest.

Go to; Plumbing (http://www.billdavis.us/HomePlumbing.htm) and click on your valve for the information that you're looking for. Good luck, Tom
