"HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!"
We all have a July 4th so can all enjoy happy wishes for the day!
To some of us, this day holds special significance for celebration and to each of you, I wish good friends, family, food, entertainment but also a quiet moment of thanks to those who have served and continue to serve so that we can continue our tradition of celebrating July 4th in the fullness for which it was designed to be celebrated. "Happy 4th"
Also, thank you for all the good wishes extended from each of you "old and new friends" as we celebrate our Independence Day!

I have not been as active on the site lately... lots going on. I am glad to have been missed! Warms my heart! I loved settling in on your couch with snuggy bunnies and just enjoying watching everyone dance!
It seems I have some angels watching over me lately and I sure need it. I do miss everyone! Soon, I will be around more. Love and Hugs all around!! : )

Music crosses all borders.. and I think this song applies to both genders, so I thought I'd share it with you. For some, it will be sad but true, and for some it will be awfully funny. Nevertheless, please enjoy!
YouTube - Vince Gill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07wrGq99R40&feature=related)
This one made me laugh, and the next one grabbed my heart and made me cry... the world would be nothing without music!
YouTube - She's Somebody's Hero (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANk___WvZ5E)
The only thing we can do is wish that our children love us as much as we love them.
Guess I've got an 'emotional moment' and need to share it.
Love,
Chery

Vince Gill, Vince Gill, who compares to that wonderful heartfelt voice? I love him... how did you know?;)
I have heard both of those songs, I can't play them right now, I am sitting where kids are sleeping... schools out so they get to crash where they want;) Anyway I love music too, it brings emotions out in me that I had no idea that I had. Thanks Chery, I love it when you arein this sort of mood.

Jul 4, 2008, 11:43 PM
Thanks for your songs Chery! :) I've never heard that one by Vince, and I've never of Jamie O'neal. Love the song! A nice tribute! We've never really talked, but it's very nice to meet you! :D

I'm good hun! I was suppose to go out for a night on the town with an old friend tonight, but it's been put off until tomorrow night now. I'm a little worried about Niki. She has a really weird cough. She sounds like a goose honking! So I guess it's another trip to see what's wrong. :( Otherwise, all is good! Did you do anything for the 4th?

We celebrated last night with the work schedules and all. Fireworks and friends... after the fireworks, I took a dip in the pool with a new found friend, she is so sweet and fun! Then by 1:00 we got too tired to speak so we went to bed and hung out all day and took all the kids rafting, I drove them there and picked them up, but unless it is 1000000 degrees, you won't see me get into that cold ole river;) Hugs Starby, I hope Niki is OK. Sorry about your plans love, I hope they come through tomorrow for you:):)

I am passing the buck on this one.
starbuck8
Jul 5, 2008, 04:01 AM
I guess it's my laziness too! I was fooling around and trying to find out how to hide, and now I am with the witness protection program I guess! LOL!

I went ad rented a few foreign films as well, can't wait to watch them... no one else will watch them with me so I have to be completely alone for those...

startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 01:45 PM
No hangover here. I am good, just hanging in my jammies still, feels nice not to have to do a gosh darn thing. I thought about baking... I think I will another time. My house is still picked up so nothing to do there, laundry is done... now what?
starbuck8
Jul 5, 2008, 01:59 PM

K... thanks, I am enjoying the little bits of alone time, that's for sure.
How is Niki today?
starbuck8
Jul 5, 2008, 02:03 PM
She's being Miss Barkety Bark! ;) I haven't heard her sound like a goose too much today, so that's a good thing! I can't afford anymore vet bills! I will still probably take her in next week though... just to be safe!
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 02:07 PM
Maybe she just has a bit of a Doggy cold. I hope that's the case.
My bunny isn't drinking water, I need Marky Mark to drink water, I am getting worried!
starbuck8
Jul 5, 2008, 02:09 PM
Oh noooo... poor Marky Mark! Do you have a small syringe that you could try and force a little water into him?
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 02:25 PM
Ohhhhhhhhh Good idea... be right back!
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 02:29 PM
I made him take drinks... heehee, he doesn't like being woke up like that, I think he just took a sip to please me and let him go back to sleep!
starbuck8
Jul 5, 2008, 02:53 PM
Sorry Starty! My puter keeps on freezing up on me... grrrrrrrr! That's good that he took a drink. Poor little hopper! ;)
Alty
Jul 5, 2008, 03:15 PM
Marky Mark isn't drinking, not good. Bunny's need their H2O, keep force feeding him water Starty, and keep an eye out. Is he pooing and peeing regularly, sleeping more than usual? It could just be that he's hot, but that isn't good either, when it's hot, he needs to drink. Silly bunny, trix are for kids. :)
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 03:19 PM
It is hot out there... but cooling down, he is sleeping more than usual. I think I will keep forcing him to drink, matter a fact, I am going to right now;)
Thanks guys, you are both real great!
Alty
Jul 5, 2008, 03:22 PM
No problem. Bunny's can go downhill really fast, so it's important to notice any behavior changes and nip them in the bud asap. Make the little powder puff tail drink, he probably won't like it, but that's what he needs. At least one syringe an hour until he starts drinking on his own. Just my opinion, no medical backup, but hey, I'm the crazy bunny lady, with 4 crazy bunny's. :)
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 03:32 PM
True, and your advice means a lot to me, thank you
I lied about baking, I made a yellow cake and will be devouring it after the taco salad tonight;)
Bunny is going to be fine, I just know it!
Alty
Jul 5, 2008, 03:36 PM
I'm sure he is. Could be the heat, could be his age, could be that he's just having a lazy day, we all do at times. Just watch him, monitor his water intake, but I'm sure he's okay. :)
My Oreo sometimes goes 2 days without drinking, and then all of a sudden she'll drink two bottles of water within an hour. None of my others bunnies do this, only her. She also has poo problems, the water consumption may have something to do with that. And the story about poo not sticking to bunny's fur, so not true. :(
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 05:02 PM
He is still sleeping, but drank for me a little wee bit. I will watch him, crazy bunny lady!;)
HI AK, I MISS YOU! How are you fairing?

Kuckoo, kuckoo, crazy bunny lady in the house. :)
Give Marky Mark a hug from me and my bun's. :)
startover22
Jul 5, 2008, 05:25 PM
I will, but he really isn't driking an awful lot, he pushes me away and he won't take it in?? Poor baby, I think I will bring him in and give him some attention, it could be the fireworks he heard last night, they were all pretty far away... but now that I think about it, he may be completely freaked out... awww, I am a bad bunny mom... I am going to go and get him!
Alty
Jul 5, 2008, 05:28 PM
Yes, some hugs and love are definitely called for. They hear much better than we do, and the fireworks probably did scare him. Bunny's are really skittish and nervous, too much shock or fear can kill them. He's probably just a bit shook up, needs a bit of TLC. I'm sure he'll be fine. You are not a bad bunny mom, I wish more people cared as much as you do about these wonderful, misunderstood animals. Poor wee bunny baby.

HOWDY! Everyone... get enough sleep after all a that celerbatin on the 4th Stringer?. whut da heck,it only hapns 1ce a year,so it's OK... hick.
Starby, Alty, and Start.. I sure hope all the four-legged babies are better. I know my cat went bonkers for a while - and when he hides, he forgets to come out and eat, drink or do his 'duty'..
A doc told me a long time ago that an eye dropper with water and a few drops of whiskey can save a life and did try it a few times... it worked on my dogs, cats, and my baby when she had middle ear infection on the airplane.. so there must be something to the remedy story.
Cross your fingers that my 'down-days' will be over soon, next visit with doc is Wednesday and I plan on reading him the riot-act - I've also missed a few cancer group sessions and my 'memebers' there miss me, so I have to start on the road to recovery as soon as possible. Gosh, I just hate to be missed, don't you?. (actually like it, but don't like letting others down when they need someone too).
Well, got to go for a while and see what other trouble I can stir up in the relationshi's section..

Hi Chery,
Long time no talk, I missed you.
My four legged babies are all fine, so are the two legged ones. ;) It's been a neat week, the kids are done with school, the weather has been really nice, almost too nice, and they are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Good times, ah the joys of being a kid. :)
Go stir up some trouble on the relationship boards, I'll be watching. ;)

My fingers are crossed. I do hope you feel good soon. My bunny is drinking but not as much as I would have hoped. We will see what happens. I believe the whiskey story, I have heard those types of remedies work for all sorts of things! Go on and stir up your stuff over there in the other threads, they like it;)

I sure hope you are feeling a lot better soon Chery, and my best wishes to you for your down days to be very few and far between very soon. Godspeed!
Niki hasn't been coughing like a goose as much, but I will still probably take her in because I've been a paranoid momma ever since she was attacked, and I need to make sure everything is okay with her. Darn vet bills though... ouch!
Chery?. can you adopt me? ;) I love your advice on the other boards! :) Oh, and I have also heard that my mom used to dip our soothers in whiskey when we were babies, if she couldn't get us to calm down and go to sleep! LOL!
Starty girl... I hope Marky Mark is drinking more now... poor little fluff ball! :(
Chery
Jul 6, 2008, 04:26 PM
Alty.. Glad your four-legged babies are better. And.. I hope you have a few activities planned for the kids because they can get bored aweful fast.
I had a white plastic tablecloth ready for outside finger-painting - bathtub ready for cleaning afterwards
Then, even in the summer, I took plastic easter eggs and placed candy inside for the kids to hunt in the park or back yard. Anything is worth keeping them busy.
Start.. just make sure that your furry pets keep in the shade and out of drafty places - those are the factors that make them sick real quick. Bunnies usually get liquid through fresh vegies - just don't wash them before giving it to them though - sometimes too much chlorine and/or fluoride is not the best for them either - so hope you have distilled water around.
Starby.. Consider yourself adopted. Along with my daughter, I have a beautiful gay Italian sort-of-adopted son already and I've always wanted more children. You can officially call me mom now any time. Gosh, every time I read your name, I want to go make a good cup of coffee - I just love those bottles of Starbucks coffee my daughter gets me now and then. After twenty years of not drinking coffee - I now get the urge and it has to be special - not the perculated plain stuff.
Stringer.. wassup`? Still hung-over dear? Say hi to Marta for me.

I was the co-ordinator for a local baseball league, and one of my friends on our team all of a sudden started calling me Jo Jo Starbuck Buck. I asked him why there where two "bucks"... he told me that's all I was worth!. all in fun! There are still a lot of people around town that don't even know my real name! Unfortunately, the name has taken on a life of it's own, and there have been many variations over the yrs. "Bucket" being my least fave name, LOL!
Your daughter and "sort of" adopted son are probably proud to call you Mom... I am too! :)

It's nice here now... but I think Alty has sent her thunderstorms this way! At least that is what the forecast says, but hey, that changes every time you walk out the door! It's sunny here Starby, so the thunderstorm I'm sending shouldn't last long.
I'm working on the illustration for the first page of my book. Having some trouble, need to color, don't have felts or chalk, what's a girl to do?

Chalk would probably look a bit nicer, but are you going to be able to tell after it's scanned? Do the kids have any paints? Ohhh... you could do some finger painting?. LOL Since I am the main character, I will require the first copy you know! :p

Yes Starduck, I will send it to you when it's complete, pictures and all. I drew a rough draft of the picture, I want it to look childlike, after all, it's a children's book. Here, I'll post the picture. Imagine it with color, and grass, and flowers, and a sky, etc.

I am free on the weekends but I serve my full sentence during the week. They let me be free for all weekends. I am still not sure how long my sentence is but it feels like its for ever.
Nice drawing. Maybe when I get out of jail I can make the castle my permanent home??
That is if it is okay with everybody. Lol

Bunnies usually get liquid through fresh vegies - just don't wash them before giving it to them though - sometimes too much chlorine and/or flouride is not the best for them either - so hope you have distilled water around.

I am feeling pretty good hon, miss you.
I took M's and everyone's advice and drank a ton of water and aspirins... my head's OK, but for some reason my body is sore. I wonder if someone may have taken some advantage of me when I was under the influence? Hmmmmm, Marta..
Work tomorrow, lots of problems to solve and lots of meetings for the next two weeks... not in the mood for it at the moment. Maybe by tomorrow I'll feel a little bit more like dealing with the world... long weekend now seems very short.
And Chery... give 'um h*ll Darlin'... and I know you are the one that can do it.. Let us know... K?

Nope, not a cook book. It's a children's book, about a duck. I wrote it today, read it to my kids (my target audience) and read it to Starby, so far it's been well received. Now I just have to do the illustrations, but I need to get some supplies. I'm thinking of doing them in water color, but I usually only work in oils, water color would be new for me. I'll give it a try. I want the pictures to be childlike and colorful. :)
I'm hoping to get it published, it's a fun book, once I got the idea the words just flowed on to the page. I'll see what happens, the worst that can happen is that it gets rejected, can't fail or succeed unless you try. Hey, didn't a wise man named Stringer tell me that? ;)

Alty; YOU BETCHA HON!"
Good luck, my nephew is a published author of children's books. His latest is "A Christmas Secret"; J.B. Struzzi II. He is a great writer, his degree is in journalism, he is a speech writer for the Governor of Pennsylvania, official spokesman for PENDOT (public transportation) in Pa. And he is only 32... great looking guy. He was "Mr. Pennsylvania" TWICE for body building and came in second the third time.
He and I are very close Alty, and yes he and I have sat and talked for many hours about what he wants in life and the things he has already accomplished.

I always wanted to write a book, I've got allot of ideas floating around my head, but usually I sit down and try, and the words that sounded so good in my head, well they just won't come out.
This time I had the entire idea in my head, sat down, and it just flowed out. I love this book, the kids have asked me to read it three times already, and I think it will be even better with pictures. Who knows, maybe one day my book will be on a shelf for sale. Eeeek, then you'll know where I came up with my user name. ;)

I'm the same way Stringer. I haven't actually painted since my dad died. It was something we did together, he was a very talented painter. I usually paint in oils, and I got an easel and all new paints for Christmas, I have yet to use them. The kids are interested, and they've been begging me to paint something, I just have to find happiness in it again, not saddness because my dad isn't beside me.
Here's one of the first pictures I every painted, it's not great, but hubby loves it so it's hanging in our bedroom. Unfortunately I couldn't get a great picture, the spray that I put on to protect the picture makes in shiny when you take a picture. I hope you get the basic image. :)

I've gotten allot better since that painting, but it was fun to do, and interesting to look at now, because I can see all the flaws. :)

Possibly sometime this evening you could help me post it? I can't seem to get it right and it always wants me to "reduce", "reduce." I have an HP Officejet Pro L7580 Scanner and Fax...
If you will I would appreciate it, but I can't right now. The phone is ringing again for the 30th time...

Starby, thanks for the kudos. :) I like the picture, but like I said, it was my first and you learn as you go, so I see the flaws.
Here's one of my dads pictures. It's a famous doorway in the town that I was born in. Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Once again there's a glare because of the spray that protects the painting.
9951
He chose those colors because they matched the new curtains my mother had made. He took a swatch of material along to our "painting class" so that he could match them perfectly. That picture is now hanging in my living room, along with a few others of his and mine. :) I don't have allot of wall space left, most are covered with paintings of mine and my dads. :) Memories.

Sweet Alty, we are all a little apprehensive about posting our work on the thread because it makes us a little vulnerable but when one is given a talent, one is not to hide it under a bushel basket, or something like that! LOL It is meant to be shared.
Each artist who shares, is sharing a very private part of who they are inside, whether it is painting, music, poetry, stories, etc. My work does not compare to a lot of the artists work on the thread but I think it enhances all of our lives when we can get a glimpse into some one's life through their art work. I enjoyed so much seeing your dad's work and yours. I encourage you to take the leap!

Thanks all, you are all such great friends. What would I do without you, I hope I never have to find out.
Sweet Alty,
Tears are good for the cleansing of the soul to clear the path for the birth of new visions!
You shared a vision with your father and it was fulfilled.
The tears come now to clear your path for new visions, inspired by your father. He would be so proud to know you are once again, being inspired to create. No doubt, a dream he had for your life. (I don't presume to know). Seven years, (7) God's perfect number!
Sharing a part of you that was so entwined with your dad makes it all the more difficult for you yet also, all the more special to share with others. Not everyone has a dad who loves them or inspires them or even sometimes accepts them. Your story and your art may be the only way some ever experience a little piece of that feeling and you can provide that through the written word, sharing little moments spent with your dad as you both painted together as you also share your new creations, inspired by your father's love for you and for art. I believe your dad would feel so honored for you to share the love he had for you, with others but that is not for me to say, only to suggest.
I think you are ready to just burst forth as you move toward a new time in your life of creating, using the wonderful memories of your father to inspire you. Everyone likes to know the inspiration behind the artist's work, or enjoy reading little stories as to the development of the piece. Little Alty, I want to encourage you to become the artist that is within you! It has sat dormant for a time, as life moved slowly forward.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1

Now you are making me cry Rebby! Your words are so sweet and touching. I'm so glad to call you my friend. Yes Alty's paintings are beautiful, and her Dad would be proud to see her painting again. I'm at a loss for words Rebby. That was just so sweet, for you to give Alty that inspiration. I'm sure her Dad hands will help her with every stroke of the brush, and she will feel him in the room with her while she paints more beautiful pictures. :)

9949
I've gotten allot better since that painting, but it was fun to do, and interesting to look at now, because I can see all the flaws. :)
Dear Alty. Your dad would want you to continue. When we encourage our children to do something that they have fun doing and are good at (and believe me, you're GOOD) they want you to find peace and happiness in your memories of them. When I taught Jaime a few things and she got good at it, it made me so darned proud of her and I sincerely hope she continues the rest of her life and has fond memories of me teaching her how. That's what drives us parents. It leaves a legacy - so think of it that way. I just downloaded your picture of the wolves for her because she has loved wolves since she was a baby and when we went to the zoo to watch them, they always came close to us and 'sang' their song for her - it was usually near closing time and it was a ritual. She still remembers that time as one of the happiest times as a child. Hope it's OK with you for me to share it with her. Keep up your wonderful talent my love, don't deprive the rest of the world of something so beautiful!
The other picture makes me think of a scene in a Charles D*ckens novel - you've got talent babe, and should never give it up. - for some reason his last name gets blocked, maybe because 'someone' thinks it's a 'bad word'.

On the subject of games and such ---- and I'm NOT advertizing for the products in any way!
I like yachtzee(sp) still, dominoes, crosswords, scrabble, netuno, spades, any breakout game, jigsaw, the original mahjong, space invaders, etc.
If you check out completelyfreesoftware.com - they have old and new games for all windows and/or DOS versions. I have lifetime membership on that site and believe me, it's worth it. It does not just have games, but everything else, from utilities to desktop apps and more.
That's where I got my Total Commander and my Desk Sweeper. The desksweeper clears the desktop when the apps you use are minimized when you use them so that the icons in the background don't interefere with your concentration.
That site also has a lot of bible-related games for kids of all ages which I download for my friend for her kids.
Let me know if there is anything on it that might interest you and I can download and send to you to try out - because there is minimal fee to join - a lifetime cost me less than 30 dollars.
Also, if you like jigsaw puzzles that you can create yourself with your own pictures, different piece shapes, and from 25 to 3000 pieces try out Jigs@w Puzzle. This one was so good I just had to buy it.
Then there is Kyodai Mahjong.. where you can create your own tiles, tilesets, and the site has custom made tilesets made from other members that you can download and use. Just check out the site and see for yourself how much imagination some people have.
Right now, I have RealArcade and BigFish Games and I just love hidden object games of all sorts. This keeps my mind busy and it's a lot of fun to find all the hidden objects in some super graphic apps. The nice thing about these sites is that you can download and play any type of game for an hour for free until you find one that you want to purchase.
So, now you know I'm still a kid at heart. I collect all kinds of pictures and create coloring books in PDF format too with Painshop Pro 9, although I don't do it as much as I used to, I still have a pretty good collection and give them away to my friends and neighbors to keep their kids busy. The only problem is when I send them on the net, I have to make them small enough to use Yousendit.com for people to be able to download them. My Winnie the Pooh, flowers, fish, christmas, aminals, clowns, and easter coloring books have been sent almost all over the world.
PM me any time if you need more information or if anyone has any ideas on how I can send large files an easier way.

AND, I just figured out who you remind me of... :)
I have a best friend in Alaska, I was 8 months old when she was born and we hung out almost every day after that special day! OUR MOTHERS were best friends... bowling, bingo, costume making, arts and crafts, and my fave was Dennys for breakfast! ;) I called them both "mom" I love my best friend and I love my Mom and her best friend. I can't tell you how I was devistated when my parents split, I can't tell you what it meant to me to have her around when my real mom left and never really came back. She was and is extra special to me, and so are you. I never called anyone else mom, even though there are people in my life today that would probably love it if I did. So I just wanted to share this with you. YOu are so much like her, I am lucky to have met you:)

Hi Rebby, you know that we care a lot and I am glad that you found this family - glad I found it too for that matter. 'Birds of a feather', so to speak.. and it is good to know that even though geographically apart, there are those that do accept us for who we are and encourage us to not give up, no matter how bad things get sometimes.
I never go to any 'chatrooms' where there is nothing but a bunch of blah, blah with no meaning - and if we shed a few tears here it is because they are tears of joy and warmth and they are as important as taking our next breath. Since meeting all of you I feel that I am a part of a great big wonderful family and it brings joy to my heart, just as much as your emails bring - so don't stop sending them because you bring joy to my often painful days and sincerely hope that when you are here with us, your pain is a little more tolerable too.
Lots of love and hugs,

Good luck on your essay dear and I hope your grandma's surgery comes out well. What type of heart problem does she have, if I may ask. I also hope that your unemployment does not last long.. mine was over 3 years until I finally got my medical retirement - what a pain! I certainly wish you better luck.

I couldn't have described my experience with this "virtual family" better than you just did! It seems amazing to me how so many with such warmth, found each other. Can't be a coincidence. A "meant to be" thing! I have never gone to a "chat room" and have to admit I read a lot of posts here on this site before ever posting. It was a new venture that seemed a bit intimidating to me in the beginning. I am so glad I did take the step into the family! I feel good when I am on the site, seeing you and others, knowing how much you care. You have been an inspiration to me. Love and Hugs right backatcha!! :p

Even emails are creeping in that are mostly from gmail.com - with suggestions on how to make my nights better and my you-know-what grow and last longer. Gosh, I didn't know I had a you-know-what.. the last time I looked I was still a woman. To bad gmail is letting things like this happen, so I have decided to mark all mail from gmail as SPAM and will not accept it anymore. So, if any of you have a gmail address, sorry for spamming you, but had to do it to stop receiving so much junk from strangers. I know that you can set your internet security to a higher level, but there are some sites with vital information for me that would not be accepted if I changed the settings.
I have a good firewall and keep my antivirus, antispam programs running every day. It's just that my Yahoo mail does not have a very good spam filter - too bad. Do any of you Yahoo-ers have the same problem?

I was going to start quoting everyone, but that would have shut down the room for good! Love and Great Big Huge Bear Hugs, to all of my family here!
Momma Chery!. You are a precious soul! (my adopted Mom) I know you would set me straight if I got a little wobbly.
Sweet Rebby!. You are a bright light! (My biker girl) I need my weekly dose of Rebby girl!
Alty!. Well you are just... just... always there when I need you! It would take an entire thread to say what I would like to say! (Niki's God mommy) :)
Friend M! (aka Batman for now) You are my protector, and send me killer kangaroo's! (and give me THAT look, when I want to cause trouble.
Sneezer! You are my favourite Power Ranger, and computer smasher! You come and look for me when I'm MIA!
Starty! You are my fave cookie girl and bread baker... and you are always there to listen, with good advice!
Chicky! You are my Ocean girl, that I want to party with!
String Man! You are always sneakin around to make me laugh... or cook me... not sure! ;)
Joe! You always make me feel better about things, and give me a good giggle!
Guy! You are fun to have around, and let us all be young and have fun!
Oh Gosh, am I forgetting anyone? I don't mean to! I lub lub lub you all! :D
If I don't answer anyone in the next while, it's because my PUTER is impaired! I mean I seriously don't think he knows where he is! He must have gone out on a straight tequila night or something. He doesn't know where anything is at all! Bad bad Puter! Why am "I" the one that got grounded for his misadventures? ;)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, :o I went into my shy mode one day and almost disappeared. As I say, not much of a joiner and sort of just dissolved for a bit. Maybe I need a new Avi but maybe a bit more... ah... I don't know... me?? LOL It was so sweet of you to find the biker avi's earlier. I can just leave it blank. I might go into shy mode again and disappear and you would feel you wasted your time on me. It was so sweet of you to find the others. Maybe I will have a real outgoing day soon and we can come up with something for me!! Can that be a plan?? :p

Well I had a long day at work today. Really tired and sore. I have an appointment at physio in a little bit.
Alty
Jul 9, 2008, 12:44 PM
I had to do physio for 2 1/2 years, 5 days a week, I know how that goes, it sucks. Sorry to hear you still aren't feeling 100% Joe. Have you tried massage therapy, that finally did the trick for me. :)

I guess I'm next... if puter doesn't have a hissy fit! It summer!. why does puter want to freeze me out? ;) I better be able to come around, because we all have to move to the bunny binky room, and I going to do renovations in the castle. You know... a little painting... a few repairs... some funky wallpaper... plant some new flowers in the meadow..! Joe, don't forget to do the dishes, and pack them up okay? LOL!
EDIT: Okay Joe... I guess we can find someone else to do the dishes... you better relax my dear!

Jul 9, 2008, 12:47 PM
I think everything is out of line. Lots of pressure, and maybe too much of carrying the world on my shoulders. Or is that too much work. Lol lol lol
Well The physio that I go to tries to get you fixed up and ready to go real fast, but this neck and shoulder and upper back thing needs a lot more care. I also think that is a great idea alty about massage therapy.

I have neck, and back issues as well, due to a car accident. Phsio was temporary relief, massage therapy, well, lets just say that I haven't had to go in almost 6 years, so it works. You do have to find a good massage therapist, one that does injuries, not just relaxation massage. My hubby swears on the chiropractor, I didn't like it much, and it didn't help, but it's good to look at other possibilities. I hope you feel better soon Joe.

The chiropractor worked for me with my hip and back to a certain point. Laser therapy seemed to help a bit also, although it was pretty expensive. I went to physio for quite awhile, but the massage therapy rocked! :D
EDIT: I'm last... hahaha!
