I am currently going trough a ruff patch with my ex. I have had our two children in my care for a year and a half now and the mother comes and goes as she pleases. It has been 6weeks since she has come to see the children and when she attempted to it was by trying to take him out of school luckily he was sick at home with the flu. I want to know what grounds will defie her as an unfit mother?? PLEase help:( :( :( all so
She has not helped me pay any schooling fees or child support and only wants to see the children once a week on a Sunday but I guess its better then noting

There is a difference between a bad, and an unfit mother.

To be declared unfit, you will have to prove that she is unable to provide care for them, or that she is a danger to herself or the children. The court will need overwhelming evidence that would prove she cannot be allowed to be a mother to the children she brought into this world.

9 out of 10 times, the courts rule in favor of the mother in a custody dispute.

Proving she is unfit means much more than her not showing up to see them when she said she would.

And I will go even further if you are looking for proving it in court you will need evidence, and also each state may have some of its own requirements as to what they require
