Hi everybody, I recently took a FINGERNAIL drug detection test. They took all of my fingernail clippings from all of my fingers. My hair was too short so they said they had to use my fingernails. I have been clean now for 1 year, 5months, and a couple days. What are the chances of me testing positive? My company recently started doing random drug tests on its employees. Sucks huh? Chances are quite slim that this will come back positive if you have been clean for over a year now. You see, our nails grow rather quickly and what was in your system has been grown out and clipped away by now... unless of course you have not clipped or broken a nail in over a year.

Surprised there is normally a lot of other places hair grows they use, but first they are looking for recent and looking for certain levels.
