Hello,
All of my upstairs drains are slow. They do drain eventually but it just takes them forever and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to reach the main drain to unclog it.
And the drains downstairs all run fine.
Thanks in advance.

No gurgles and the toilets seem to work fine now that I think about it.

Hey Rebecca,
Exactly what drains are slow? Are they all in one bathroom?
Has this been coming on or did it just start? Any backups? Let me know. Tom

Well Tom,
Both of our upstairs sinks and showers are slow. If we Drano them they run free for less than a week and then are all slowed back up even if we use them sparingly. This has been happening for quite some time and we have tried everything we can think of so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Rebecca

You have clogs in the horizontal drain line in the wall. These clogs are most likely hair matted with grease from the soap. The solution is to remove the "J" bend from the trap and snake the line, (see image). Good luck, Tom
