Hi, I've been using a sunbed for the past couple of weeks just a few minutes at a time to build up a gradual tan before I go on holiday. My face goes very red easily so it's embarrassing to go on for much longer as I come out like a beetroot  ! I have used banana boat spf 15 tanning oil but I find it makes my legs red and blotchy after a day or so. My skin is very sensitive and I sometimes get eczema. Can anyone recommend a tanning accelerator that is good for sensitive skin? Thanks! :)

Hello. I have also been using a tanning bed and I'm fair skinned. I use a tanning lotion that I purchased from them with a bronzer. You should make sure that the lotion you are using is okay to use in a tanning bed. The place you are tanning should be able to recommend something for you and I know their products can be expensive, but they are much better for you than something you get elsewhere because they are for use with a tanning bed. You are smart to begin slowly and build up. If you're face is getting more exposure than you wish, try covering it a small towel or something and not expose it every time. Or, at least cover it part of the time you are in the bed. I have to do that, also. Good luck and don't burn!! OUCH!

Are you sure that tanning is something that is right and good for you considering the complexion of your skin? I just want to ask that, because I am very fair skinned and anything for tanning won't work for me.

Well I'm tanning fairly easily, I haven't got very fair skin, I just have to be careful about products. I have to avoid the lovely fancy perfumed lotions and potions :(

Okay. Thanks for responding. I just wanted to ask and make sure as to what type of skin you have. Thanks!
