What has happened to the three-dot symbol for "therefore" in mathematics ?
It's not on keyboards anymore, so what takes its place ?

I'm not aware of any keyboard that has or had a therefore symbol on it - and I've been a computer person for many years.
The therefore symbol is part of the Symbol font which should be available on your computer. It's created by selecting a backslash (\) in the Symbol font.

∴
I copy/pasted it from elsewhere. There is no ascii code for it. You can get it from Word (Insert > Symbol).

If you are working on a Mac and have WORD, you can find this symbol very easily. Go to 'INSERT" and highlight symbols and a list of symbols will come up. The ∴ is in the third row - fourth from the left. Just highlight this symbol and press insert and it will go to the place on the WORD document. You can then highlight the symbol and increase the size.

Here on AMHD you can use Latex to generate the symbol, like this:
\therefore
I made this by placing "\therefore" between [math] and [ /math] delimiters.

I know this is not the right way to ask a question but I did ask ask a question and was advised that "all the required fields" had not been completed. BUT I can't find the required fields!
