I have had 2 small bumps on one side of my vagina. They are nowhere near the opening . They are about an inch apart from each other and they happen to be right about where my underwear line hits. I DO wear thongs which I've been told is bad. They are NOT painful or itchy. They are raised and almost more detached from the skin. They tend to be pink. I have only had one sexual partner and we have ALWAYS used protection. I saw a gyno to have them checked. She said that they probably are just skin tags and she didn't seem too concerned. She did the vinegar test as a preliminary test to warts and it was negative. She did a pap smear and a syphillias and gonorrhea test and all came back completely normal. Any idea what this could be? I trust the doc but I'm still nervous about what this could be. I'm only 19 so I go to private clinics so my parents don't know. So I'm kind of running out of options. HELP PLEASE!

Molluscum contagiosum is a common skin disease that is caused by a virus. The disease is generally mild and should not be a reason for concern or worry.

Molluscum infection causes small white, pink, or flesh-colored bumps or growths with a dimple or pit in the center. The bumps are usually smooth and firm and can appear anywhere on the body. They may become sore, red, and swollen but are usually painless. The bumps normally disappear within 6 to 12 months without treatment and without leaving scars. In people with weakened immune systems, molluscum growths may grow very large, spread more easily to other parts of the body and may be harder to cure.

Thanks sooo much... that helps a lot. Is there anything I can do to help them disappear? By the way, I have a very weak immune system.
