I bought a house in Vegas 4 years ago. It has 1 full bath and 2 full baths upstairs. My problem is it stopped having cold water in our shower near the loft. Its only hot water coming out no matter where I turn the shower handle.
What do I need to do to fix this problem?
Thank you.

What's the brand name of your shower valve? How old is it? One handled or two knobs ? I'll give you instructions when I know what I'm working on. Regards, Tom

I would say its 4 years old since we bought the house new 4 years ago. All faucets and showers were made my Moen. The shower is one handled knob ( pull for water and turn handle left or right for temperature ). I removed the handle in hoping I could adjust the pipe behind the wall but there is nothing to adjust. The rest of the house have normal water flow except this shower. Also, I had Culligan Water Company installed water softener a year and a half ago but I don't think it has any affect on the problem.

You are in luck, buy it for looks buy it for life is Moens warranty. Your cold inlet port is blocked, usually the hot but not this time. Remove the handle and escutcheon plate after you shut off the main supply but it sounds you been here before. Life up on the steel or brass clip directly above the valve body using needle nose plyers. The cartridge should pull straight out toward you. If you can find any debris to clear call Moen for a free replacement. Here are some tutorials that may also help you.
