Hi all, I subscribed to "ONSPEED" the alternative to broadband some 3 yrs ago. I didn't renew after the first year because I had broadband by then. Then 3 months ago I was offered 3mths free trial which I used. The problem now is the fact I seem unable to delete all traces of this from my system. When the PC has loaded I get a reminder each time telling me the trial has finished and to renew etc.

When I try to remove ONSPEED my spyware gives a message " Spyware doctor has blocked a malicious action - uninstall.ex. I also get a message "windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions."

Can anyone help please.

Richard.

Have you tried booting to Safe Mode and uninstalling from there ?

Rich,

Re-boot to Safe-Mode as Curly Ben has suggested, then open your control panel and use the "Add/Remove" program.

I never really trust using the software's uninstall ultiles alone.

Thanks Curlyben and Don. I have done as you both suggested with success.
Cheers
