I bought a used Kenmore Dishwasher 665-16712000 9 months ago and it has worked great until now. The water miser light just keeps flashing and it won't start any cycle. If I hit the cancel/drain button the water miser light, the quick dry light, and the cancel/drain light all flash. Eventually they will stop except the water miser light. I've tried turning the power off but that doesn't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem and I know it's a stuck button. I learned that somewhere else on the Internet. Does anyone know how get inside the plastic cover to clean the buttons? I took the whole top part off and found out it's completely sealed so I can't get inside of it to clean the gunk off the buttons!

I fixed it!! Here's how! You don't need a screwdriver. You just need a good fingernail and some windex multi-purpose cleaner (that's what I used). Peel the panel off the front by getting it started with your fingernail (don't worry about all the blood coming from your cuticle - that's completely normal) then

Grab the part you loosened up and peel it back with an aggressive yet consistent tug. Then peel the clear plastic back the same way as you did the cover. You don't have to go all the way. Then take your fingernail again and peel back both sets of covers to the silver buttons. Spray your cleaner onto a paper towel and proceed to clean the connections. Then wait 30 minutes or so for everything to dry. Then carefully realign the buttons as you reseal the sticky covering. (remember to do both sets of buttons!! I found out my problem was with the start button as it gets used the most probably and over time became messed up. Then reapply the plastic carefully and finally the front panel. If this doesn't work for you better you than me! Oh yeah, my dishwasher is model # 665.15 something something 4992.
