I have a Troy Bilt tractor ( Big Red) purchased 3 years ago from Lowe's. I have a never ending fix this n that list. Latest $300 spent,ran two hours, then will not go. I think there is a spring which was attached to the gas pedal to SOMETHING, which broke. The pedal goes down now with no resistance. Anyone who can tell me the part I am missing and the end-place to stake it to, I'd appreciate it. And if you want to stay up all night reading my opinion of Troy Bilt, I'd be glad to post it! Troy-bilt is now owned by mtd, and manufactured by mtd. They are not what they used to be. Not really sure how to try and help you here.
