Hi,
Please I need help with my 2004 Honda Accord. I bought it from the States and shipped it to my mum in Africa. Unfortunely, by the time it got there the battery was gone so I had to replace it. After doing that, the navigation system requested for a code, which I entered (Got it from the Honda Dealer). This worked but when I tried to turn on the CD or am/fm radio, the screen refused to change from the navigation screen to the CD or FM screen. However, when you push the A/C button the navigation screen changes to the A/C screen.
I have tried the code in the glove compartment (5 digit) but I am still having the same problem. I was advised to remove the negative terminal of the car battery and the radio fuse and try again but no luck.
I desperately need help with this issue. Is there a step by step process for me to enter the cd code? Is there something else I am missing here. I have the code but for some reason, the CD has just refused to work. I used the CD while in the States so I know it works.
I will appreciate any help you can render to me.
Thanks
