I graduated H.S in '06 and didn't start college. I went back for Dance and Business because I thought that was what I was interested in but I am not. When I took the class I didn't enjoy them. I know for sure that I want to do something with my life but I don't know what. I like guiding people, travel, being in front of the camera, dancing (but not ballet), Egyptian archeology and MAKE UP but I don't like being in the same place all the time. I don't like the medical, legal, sales and food industry. Been there, done that.
I already talked to a counselor but they don't make any sense. Ive taken so many career test and most of them come out saying to be a Aromatherapist or counselor. I cannot be a aromatherapist because I have asthma and I just don't like it. Being a counselor sounds interesting but I cannot be in a cubicle, I will not even take a good paying job that involves being a receptionist because I feel trapped.
I am not from the USA so I don't qualify for financial Aid so I can't go to those vocational classes that Im interested in, or try to be.
Somebody help me please.. the years are ticking and I'm still on base 1.

You mention dance. Have you had any acting/singing experience? I ask this because I have a cousin who travels around the U.S. performing in shows for dinner theaters. It's his life and he is making an okay living with it.

If you haven't had the experience of being a receptionist, you might want to give it a try. A receptionist could be in any number of spaces inside a building. I remember when I was a music teacher traveling from room to room and when they finally gave me my own room, I wondered if I would be able to stand being in one place. It was okay. But, I do realize that you have some physical concerns about space...

How about looking into a position as a travel or tourist guide?

When I was doing receptionist jobs I was always in large atriums, usually near the door. They tend to make the reception desk look dynamic and appealing as it is the first port of call for guests so it is important to have something large and dynamic.

Or do you mean trapped job-wise?
