I was talking to someone online and I said I was a friend of mine. He started talking to "my friend" about me, saying that I have borderline personality disorder and why he thought so. He started listing the facts that I am overly sensitive to criticism and get bouts of rage at absolutely nothing, taking everything personally, am terrified of rejection, and will even be with the same guy if I don't like him just so that I won't be alone. He also brought in fact that I used to cut myself, that all the symptoms are there. I was thinking you right but I was still curious. I googled it and honestly, I felt that a book was written about my life without my knowledge. It described all my issues the way they were... I just thought that those issues are just the fact that I'm overly sensitive and that I was socially weird. But now I know that I have this disorder, I am positive. I need to know how to deal with it. I am 19 years old and am afraid that it will get in the way of my nursing school and my relationship with my boyfriend. I want it all to go away but I need to know how. I make about 600$ a month and I don't want my family to find out. I live in ROckland COunty, NY. Are there any free psychiatrists or programs that can help me? I am deperate and need help! Any responses would be helpful
Thank you

Most of the counties in the US have a mental health department, and most have programs based on your income. You should start by talking to your local health department
