Migraines do not usually occur daily. First and foremost be aware of a phenomenon called "analgesic rebound" which occurs with daily use of medication to control the headache--you end up getting worsening headaches through overuse of pain medication. Next, have an appointment with a headache specialist or a neurologist... there are many causes of migraines that can be treated with other medications besides pain meds, triptans or antidepressants.

You should have been able to identify the trigger. Weather is a hard one because that trigger is 0-48 hrs BEFORE the headache. All the other triggers are relatively easy to identify. There are some foods that are generally suspected more than others.

I can't remember if summatriptan can be used every day.

Analgesisic migraine or re-bound headache comes from chronic overuse of pain killers.
It's very tough, although possible to fix on your own.

There is something called chronic daily headache.

You could have a sinus headache and taking Benedryl for a few days should relieve symptoms if it's sinus. If it doesn't clear, but gets better suspect a sinus infection which you will need treatment.

If you have a combination of rebound and a sinus infection then asses if the headache feels any different than previous ones.

It's extremely important in the long run to identify the trigger and avoid it if at all possible. The second thing is that if you identify the trigger be sure you only take the meds when the trigger is present.

I only had two migraine headaches in my life, and they were so severe that I had to lie down and keep still to keep from throwing up. They were unbelievably debilitating... unfortunately, once I wasn't at home; a family member had to pick me up and take me home.

You have to go to a migraine specialist... I hope you live near a big city where all the latest medicine is practiced. It is my understanding that good advanced help is available.
