My household consists of a dog, five indoor cats and a Senegal Parrot. For the past few days, I have seen many, many tiny little ants. What can I use to control them that will not hurt any of my pets?

You can use Sweet N Low or Equal to treat the ants. Use near baseboards where you see the ants coming in. Look on the outside of the house and try and locate the nest. Use at least 4 packets per nest that you find. Within a few days the ants will eat the aspertame and die. Aspertame is used as an ant and insect killer in other countries around the world. We are the only country who ingest this knowingly and willingly. Go figure.

What a simple idea! I don't use either product but I will certainly get some tomorrow. Thank you so much for your help!!

You're welcome. It works great for any kind of ants - even the real big black ants! Just don't get it wet until they have had a chance to snack on it real good. You may need to reapply in a day or so but this should do the trick for your unwelcome ants.

Well I'll be danged... I was going to ask the same question... my wife will love to hear that the same crap she puts in her coffee will kill the ants LOL
