Okie... this goes like... me and her are engineering classmates.. share a same group... I started feeling for her when I had gone awat for a presentation for like a week... I felt for her then... later when I rejoined them... we closely communicated and THAT feeling started growing up... it was in like Feb. 08 n' till the date its growing strong... I expressed myself to her but she says she just considers me as a good friend... but previously she showed me love signals... I am confused... at times from her talk I feel she likes me... and when I actually ask her or come to that point she takes me as a friend... we are engineering students and she told me honeslty currently to her, her studies are imp... my exam is coming up in next month I am unable to concentrate... burst my imaginary love bubble folks... IS SHE FOOLINS ME AND ENTERTAINING HERSELF? TELL ME FOLKS.. I DUN Want to END UP A FOOL!!

Bust... I will assume first that english is ot your normal language, so can I ask what nation you are from, since dating habits and culture are different in various places.

But it does sound like she is just being nice to you, since she has to work with you in this group, so forget it all for now and study, after the group is gone, try again, but it does sounds like she has no romance in mind

Stop taking every nice thing she says, and does, as a romantic signal. I think your letting your mind play tricks on you, and your feelings. Act mature and do your work, and excel at it, and leave the romance alone. Control your flights of fancy and be a good group partner.

If she says she just feels for you as a friend then that's exactly what she means

But, I have already expressed my feelings to her.. when I think of being responsible and mature and return to the normal friends we were.. I feel guilty about it because she might have not expected this from me.. I feel like a loser and counting myself low in front of her :-(... I have lowed my confidence and self respect doing this.

Hey Fr_Chuck...
Our answer probably sounds like the real situation.. I accept it but ii am very embarrassed and ashamed of going back to her as a friend after expressing my feelings.. have I fooled myself? This question is killing me and now I don't think I have enough guts to look into her eyes and talk... am from India and the love thing is not so openly expressed here... on that, she comes from a reserved kind of family.

We all make mistakes, and there is no need to beat yourself up for yours, just aplogise, and move on. Forget it, and don't let it happen again.
