Lubricants are used by almost everyone to improve sexual pleasure and there are a lot of them on the market. Their use is probably exaggerated in porn films though.
KY Jelly has a new product out that heats up when massaged on the skin; KY Jelly in its original form is also a lubricant. Explore your options at the shops. There are a lot of choices.

I assume baby oil is likely the slick sheen you are thinking about, but that's just a guess. Some bodybuilding pose oils contain a petrolatum oil with lanolin... not as wet looking as the baby oil. There so many kinds of blends... silicone, natural oils, etc... but id bet a mineral oil/baby oil is often used for what you are talking about.
There are better lubes for sex that are cleaner, won't stain fabrics, and won't damage condoms...

Do you mean lubricants for the genitals or lubricants for the body in general?
I don't have any experience with this, but lotions marketed for dry skin or as a moisturizer are very gentle and are not very slick and "greasy"... they should be bought for the pleasure of the scent and since they are basically all the same, an inexpensive lotion like Vaseline or Johnson and Johnson are very good for conditioning the skin.
For a more greasy feel, I always liked to use Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil... the scent is tropical and stimulating and fabulous to use in a cold climate in the winter. :)
As far as genitals, I don't know. I would say Baby Oil.

Baby oil is NOT a good choice if you are depending on condoms for birth control. ALWAYS use a water based lubricant (like K-Y Jelly) if you are using condoms.
Aside from that, oil based lubricants can cause irritation and burning in genitals, which will basically halt any kind of sexual play with it.
However, most of the time the body's natural lubrication should be enough--IF you use enough foreplay. This is not always true--I've been completely turned on and dry in the past, due to medications--but I would say that it does ring true most of the time.
Kama Sutra makes quite a line of lubricants as well, both for external body play and sensual massage and for intercourse

I have found one of the most remarkable lubes every. They are used by doctors during birth because it simulates the natuaral female lubricant. I highly recommend it. It is very slippery and looks like it would be a very messy product BUT is the opposite. Ultra Glide
Unique silky texture and non-greasy formula that is almost identical to a woman's natural lubrication. Formulated without glycerin to eliminate sticky residue. The hygienic long-lasting formula is odorless, water-based and water-soluble. *** advertising deleted*** ** also link did not work anyway** FC
