I recently turned off the breaker for the Kenmore dryer, dryer was on at the time and this shut it off. Upon flipping the breaker back on the dryer will not start, the lights do not come on, including the door light and pushing any of the buttons gets no response what so ever. What could have happened when the breaker was flipped back on?

I can't tell you what may have happened when you turned the breaker back on but I can tell you that as with any troubleshooting sequence, you always check FROM the source of power. If you don't have power at the outlet, checking anything else is a waste of time.

echhux - GO back to the electrical panel and push the breaker all the way off to reset the breaker then turn it back to full on position, you should have power at the dryer now, IF this is what happened, A nother way to check to see if you have power at the dryer plug in is to use a ohm meter, set it to volt ac, and set to 250 or higher volts, if needle goes over to the right all the way you should have 220 volts to the receptical, if you do then you might have blown something inside the dryer. It's always best to turn any thing off before doing something like that IF I have helped ,RATE my answer below < GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS ::: F.B.E.
