My Weedeater Featherlite locked up, I believe the drive cable came loose, I know how to take the engine off but how do I get the other end into the head? Any help would be great. Thanks a lot.

Not worth the trouble of fixing go to the "box store" and buy a new one. Keep the old one for parts.

Yes if it is serious, try a new one. You may want to keep that one for parts if you go with a duplicate.
