It appears that the shut off knob [the thing shaped like () under the sink], for the hot water is leaking. Drops are forming on the screw. I tried tightening it, but that did not help. :confused:

I am not a plumber, just a sometimes do it yourselfer around our home.
I would replace the valve that's leaking. The seals inside might be worn out, and no amount of tightening will stop it normally.
If the knob and it's assembly "screws into" the part attached to the pipes, it might be possible to unscrew it, (after turning off the water, of course!), and buy just that part. I did that with a "metal" valve feeding water to one of our toilets.
But, if the whole valve assembly is plastic, it would be easier to replace it all.

Well it's coming out of the screw on the (). You can see the drip forming right in the center of the handle where the screw goes into the ().

Yes, that puts the leak in the bonnet packing nut,(the one right behind the ().
The solution is to snug up the packing nut until the leak stops. This shouldn't take too much since the leak's very minor. Good luck, Tom
