Right a few days ago I was playing football outside with my son and I got a really bad pain in my right side of my head now this sounds crazy to me and I can't believe I'm posting it on hear either but I told my mum about the pain in my head and she said it's a head cold I have got ahead cold but I didn't tell her id seen weird things when id closed my eyes this has only happened a few times seeing strange things the first 1 I got the kids were asleep and I sat back in my chair and closed my eyes for a few seconds and seen a person in black coat or cloak looking in my direction but I couldn't see a face the second makes me think I'm going crazy now don't laugh I'm being serious I got in bed the other night and was reading a book and a lay back to take the pressure off my arm and closed my eyes for a few seconds maybe a minute and seen what looked like a hamster trying to get free but it couldn't then it vanished and a long came sum sort of fly and it flown in to were the hamster was trying to get out then I opened my eyes and carried on reading then today I was installing software on my PC and everybody knows it takes ages to do so I sat back in my chair and closed my eyes and seen black complete darkness then this orange thing what looked like a carrot was coming towards me and then I opened my eyes and carried on doing what I was doing my friend said I should go to the doctor but I don't want to look like I'm going crazy and end up locked up lol

Does anybody have any ideas of what could be going on because its got me stumped

I was not asleep when I closed my eyes, they were not dreams,I am not on any medication except a natural calmer called kalms but I have been taking them for a month

Am I going mad? Should I go to the doctors?

Come to America and you will fit right in with the crazy's here and not have to worry about being locked up! :D

Go see the doctor because it could be something with the bump on your head.
If not let us know and we will get into the shadow people and other dimensions and so on!

Oh you just got the pain out of nowhere I don't know why I thought you got a bump I guess playing football makes me think of bumps --why I don't play!
You should go to the doctors to get it checked out.
I have a pain from my head to my fingers on my left side that I don't know where it came from and it is causing me to have a hard time concentrating. I hear others saying they have a strange pain too. I guess we all need to get to the doctors.

I would get to a doctor just to be sure. I've heard of people having "hallucinations" when they've had migraines. Do you always have the head pain with the "visions?"
The brain is a goofy kind of thing... it can make us see, hear, smell and feel what isn't there. Any other side effects or symptoms that you've noticed?

I've never heard of a head cold causing intense pain on the side of your head though either, but hey... I'm not done learnin' yet!
I hope you feel better soon!

Pressure from your sinuses could have caused the deep shooting pain. See a physican and just tell him about the pain.

The brain can do all kinds of things. People can have visions while awake. When we're asleep they are called dreams. Telling a doctor about wide awake visions will probably make him think you're nuts or just want attention. You'll likely go back to normal, if not, let us know.

I have been reading up on different types of headaches, the causes, symptoms and what to do but if you have something serious it should be diagnosed rather than taking things to make you think you are better.
It could be decreased blood and/or oxygen flow to your brain so you really should go to the doctors to make sure it isn't anything really serious.
Do you get dizzy or faint feeling or nausea?

I started suffering with migraines when I was about 8 or 9 I had a scan on my head and everything was fine we found out it was sweets chocolate crisp sugary corn flakes etc that caused them I stopped eating sweets etc but a few years later they started again and this time I was told it was hormonal [periods] but I never had migraines when I was on my period and I don't eat junk
November 06 I started getting bad neck ache then it would give me a migraine my doctor sent me to the physio but she couldn't help I did the exercises she told me to do but they didn't help the doc gave me sum migraine tablets and said to take them when I get the neck ache they don't work fast enough and I still end up with a migraine she gave me solpadol caplets their great but they also take ages to work [also I have to crack my neck everyday] I know I shouldn't but I can't sleep properly if I don't.ive not had any sweets crisp or sugary cornflakes like sugar puff in years I don't drink fizzy drinks or drink booze.last bad migraine I had was about 3 weeks ago it was that bad I was being sick all night I couldn't even wind my son because the noise of my hand rubbing on his cotton baby grown it was like somebody sawing in my head I had to get my mum to come and look after the kids I couldn't do anything, don't know if any of that helps

No the head pain only happened once not had it since but I'm still seeing crazy s**t that I didn't see before the pain

You could have a pinched nerve or something like that. I have been thinking that may be what my problem is. Could be a vitamin or mineral deficiency too.
Also check everything you eat and make sure it doesn't contain message
Also goes by
Monosodium glutamate
Monopotassium glutamate
Glutamate
Glutamic Acid

Also avoid aspartame/diet foods and drinks
Splenda, equal, sweet and low

I posted aweek or 2 ago about a numb patch on my back I don't no how long its bin their but the doctor took bloods and said if nothing come up in the bloods she'll send me to nerologist because it could be atrapped or damaged nerve [i could mention it when I get appointment] it could be months before I get an appointment ireland is so slow when it comes to healthcare and appointments but ill go doctors again and tell her about this it just seams to be one thing after another and nothing getting fixed.
The day before I go to the doctors ill think yeah ill mention that then I get their and I've been waiting so long I forget the last time I went to the doctors I got their at 11;55 and didn't get seen till 4;25
Could the neck ache and migraines have anything to do with a bad tooth?? I've made appointment to get it taken out ,its not giving me toothache or pain or anything it does the odd time but not really

Yeah a bad tooth can cause problems it could be that or some nerve damage.
Cause I don't think a tooth ache would cause numb spot in your back (maybe indirectly?)

I was just asking if the tooth could be giving me neck ache and migraines
Don't think it could cause the numb patch on my back was just saying that I was getting appointment for nerologist and I could mention it to him if I still have neck ache and migraines after its been taken out.
The numb patch is more than likely from back problems I've had for years

What problems can bad tooth cause if its been their awhile??
