Just wondering if this is normal that when I watch TV on my Samsung 40' lnt4061 model the picture skips or freezes for a fraction of a second please help me .the TV is 3months old.

If you have Satellite, it may be the signal, and not the TV.

If you had a splitter out of receiver and hooked up to an old style or another TV with existing TV..

Yes, it sounds like a digital feed problem. It happens even with cable because the feeds are all from satellites.
