Hey Men,

This question is for married men only.
Do you masterbate and/or watch porn?

Thanks,

Well, I'm not a married man, but I'll answer for my husband:

Yes, he masturbates and watches porn, though not necessarily at the same time.

This question hits to close to home so you will not get a huge amount of responses.

The majority of adult men masturbates and watches porn. Out of this majority of adult men a minority of them get married.

The majority of adult women think masturbation and watching porn is perverted. Out of this majority of adult women a minority of them get married.

This should have answered your questions.

Stand-up comedian Chris Rock: “Every man in here watches porn the smart guys just have clever ways of hiding it.”

P.S. If my wife is reading this I don't have any porn in the house I swear. It's just not me thing.

You welcome

I know you said "men only", but I want to let you know that me and any guy I am with watch porn together and it does not gross me out, its part of life. Most of the time I am the one who buys it for us to watch.

As far as masturbations, anyone does it, both man and female.

Got rid of the porn years ago, mainly because of the kids, and don't download it because of viruses, don't masturbate, because wife requires all the spunk I got, and disappointing her is like suicide, as a happy woman, means a happy house. Is there any other way??

Most men have looked at some porn, the majority don't look at it on any regular basis and most looked at it out of wonder what everone says they were suppose to look at.

Most men masterbate at some point and time, esp as teens but not nearly as much latter in life.

So to completely disagree with a few posters, most men do not look at porn, esp on any regular basis. If married, they should never do it in secret and only with their wife if she agrees and likes that sort of thing.
Most porn is very addictive and gives a lower view point of women and what real love and sex should be.

Men have to be careful with too much masturbation, it can also cause in some cases issues with normal intercourse due to loss of feeling, and/or the need for certain feelings to complete.

Yes I've watched porn. Would rather watch my wife shower or watch her get undressed from the other room. The voyeur aspect is appealing to me. She's changed clothes in front of a window that is private when I've been in the back yard just to tease me. Love it. Love it. Love it.

So sure... I've seen it. Its overrated and a poor substitute for the real deal.

Am I a "problem solver"? Sure. Sometimes. When things are clicking along fine in the bedroom there's no need, but when schedules clash or I'm too pent up, sure I will. Same for my wife... when she travels and takes that cute pink vibe on the road, I know she's likely to have dinner, drinks, hit the hotel room and sleep soundly after she takes care of a need.

Sorry guy, I'm not a guy.

I think a lot of men are addicted to porn and can't masturbate without it. If it's an addiction, it's not "gross" but like any addiction it can become more real than real life.

What did men do when photos were not invented yet?

Its been years, and I do have a hot, mature female, to make happy. That's human too! She never has a headache.Same here... I have a wife that not only has a drive that matchs mine... she is also very attentive to my needs in bed so there truly is not any need to do it myself when she is always there to take care of things.

When I have that why would I want to resort to Rosey and her sisters?

These young guys need a clue. Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to (masturbate)

They fall for all the propaganda out there in the culture that says that limitless masturbation is without negative consequences... easily accessed hardcore porn, Howard Stern and other radio shock jocks promoting sick sexuality are huge misleaders of young men.

There are few people promoting healthy exciting sex for adults in the culture! Here we are, though. :)

In my opinion, religion(Christianity and Islam) promotes sick, oppressive, repressed sexuality. Sexuality to be hidden; sex that is "dirty".

How many facets of adult human life are learned from the very beginning in each generation?? Sexuality is. Healthy, *specific* sexuality is not discussed in most families... each person pretty much starts at zero and is lucky to find a way out of the confusing plethora of sexual misinformation and misery. Imagine if each generation had to learn how to cook without having any previous information from the past!! We would hardly get past soup in our entire lifetime!!

I don't think it has anything to do with religion. I consider myself a Christian. No I'm not Catholic. And nobody in the church has ever discouraged Heterosexual stuff.

Porn has nothing to do with it either. I watch porn... my wife is always there when I do so I never feel the need to hide it. And from what I have gthered from peoples comments on just this board I have an exceptionally health sex life compared to most. And I once thought it was more along the lines of average. Christianity and porn has done zero harm in my household. In fact its helped. Its allowed the wife to discover things that interest her which in turn liven up things for us.

Amazing what you find on the net. I've been married for 8 years and I masterbate all the time. My wife and I are very busy professionals. After work the kids sports, shopping etc. We are pretty beat. I really don't have the energy to "get her in the mood' and to be honest I know she is tired and does not want to be in the mood. So I just go down stars turn to my fetish porn for the day and .....
Besides when i'm extreemly "bothered" it's hard to sleep. It's better for everyone.

Well, in the prude US perhaps. Here it is a normal program item on public television... Both the theory and the practical implications !

GENERALLY SPEAKING that is correct. But even in these groups there are a few exceptions to the rule, of course!

Well, besides training my son and daughters the basics of all major religions, I also trained them properly in their early teener years on everything involving "adult human life".

Sexuality is healthy, *specific* sexuality is not discussed in most families...It was properly and specifically discussed in mine ! We were too young than to already become grandparents... LOL

Is your wife aware of all of the masturbation ? But personally if you are too tired to please your wife, you should be too tired to please yourself.

Rosey and her sisters, are a very poor second to the real thing, porn or not. I have noticed when the wife is happy, the whole house is happy.

Yes, you can. I'm kidding. ;)

Another female perspective here. I don't watch porn, I have watched it, it just doesn't do anything for me.

Does hubby masterbate, yes. He works the split shift at work. For 2 weeks he works daytime hours 7am - 4pm and then two weeks 4pm- 12:30am. For the two weeks he's working nights, we don't have sex during the week, he leaves early, the kids are still up, there's no lock on the bedroom door, when he gets home I'm already in bed asleep. So yes, it can get frustrating, and he will "relieve" himself. So do I. We both talk about it, and we're both okay with it, he won't be able to request to be put on full days for at least another 5 years, so, we do what we have to do.

We have a wonderful relationship, and I have to say, sometimes not being able to be with each other for 5 days makes being together that much more special. The tension has built up throughout the entire week, when the weekend comes, we go all out. :)

I too will answer for my hubby. We watch Porn together, he watches porn alone. He doesn't masturbate as we have an active sex life. Its not his thing... "why should I do it, when you have something better"... LOL His response, when I just asked him if he did... lol

I think pornography is dangerous. I know of several friends who became so aroused by it that they could no longer get aroused by a real woman without getting watching porn first. I have looked at it before when I was younger and single but I have always thought it would be disrespectful to any woman I was in a relationshiop with, sort of like I was suggesting that she wasn't good enough. As for masturbation, it can be a useful tool to delay your orgasm with your wife, but I wouldn't make a habit out of going solo.
