I need help for GCSE'S I need to complete a homework on balanced symbol equations, here is an example;
copper+oxygen ----> copper oxide
potassium+water----> potassium hydroxide + hydrogen (bit harder)
please help :)

That would be my guess at the second one.
2K + 2H2O -> 2kOH + H2

1. 2Cu+O2-------> 2CuO
2.2K+2H2O----------->2KOH+H2

By the way you said you don't answer homework... why is there a homework section then?

There is a homework section for homework help. Key word being 'help'.
The point is for you to learn, not to copy some answer you get off the internet.
