Sometimes, I can't shift from park to drive gear. It doesn't happen all the times. What is the remedy for it?

Your gearbox needs attention as it sounds like something needs either replaced or fixed. Not being able to shift a car means that it needs some TLC from a mechanic. Don't let this go on for too long as you could totally wreck the gearbox if it is not wrecked now.
