My son who is just 3 years and 2 months old, has developed a small lump on left side of penis towards the bottom. It is hard and under the skin. When I press it, my son says "it slightly pains". We went to see the paediatrist for this matter. But he said you will have to go to Paedistritic surgeon. I am very worried. We haven't gone to him yet. So I want to know, what's the reason of developing such a guilty, if it's a cyst, has it to be operated. What are its after affects? Will it remove by medication. In all your answers, you have told to visit the doctors. I will surely go to the doctor but want the answers to these questions which I haveasked. Please answer to this query asap. I would be grateful to you.

Thanks and regards,

Mahima

You should have this cyst or whatever it is removed for your son's sake. The child will be put to sleep for it's removal. He will be fine afterward. This way the younger he is when he is operated on the easier he will heal up afterwards. Medicine will not remove this. It will have to be done surgically by a surgeon.
