Hi everybody!

I'm a SAP consultant from Argentina, and I've worked for some months in Puerto Rico during 2007.

The consultancy firm for which I worked in Argentina sent me to Puerto Rico with an L1 visa. I was paid as usual in my bank account in Argentina and I'm not sure if I have to prepare my tax return, nor how to do it!!

If somebody could give me some information, I will really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Regards
MS.

Did you receive W2 for your income while working in the U.S. For how much period you were in the U.S?

Hi MukatA

I did not receive W2 because my income was issued in Argentina, as if I was working there. I was working in the US for 4 months, aprox.

Thanks for your time!
Maria

Argentina does not have any tax treaty with the U.S.
You had L1 visa, which means that your Argentina company has a office in the U.S. Normally you should be paid by the U.S. office. But in your case you were paid by Argentina office. Still there may be some tax implications.
