I have a family member living in Calif in a property that is being sold in a trustee sale (it's a foreclosure) on Monday. The landlord never notified her of the foreclosure, she read about it in the paper! No one has given her any written notice to move or any guidelines about how this works. How long does she have to vacate once the property is sold at auction on Monday? Someone told her 21 days, another person said that if the bank buys it back they will give her time and the money to move. A little enlightenment would be appreciated.
