I've recently tried to change out my condenser fan.My old fan was a G.E mod.#5kcp39gfp922ds it had a multi tap capacitor with a black wire leaving the motor and
Landing on the defrost board at (DF2).The new motor I was given is a G.E mod.#5kcp39kgl733s.Both are the same 1/4hp, 825rpms, 208-230 V. but the wiring is different. The new one has (BROWN & BROWN/white stripe) they go to the capacitor.
Then a (BLACK) and (YELLOW) is left. I'm guessing that the (BLACK) will land on the defrost
Board (DF2),but where does the yellow land at?

PLEASE DOES ANYONE KNOW??

From sweating bad in S.C.

THANKS for your time and understanding

Should be a wiring diagram on the motor itself. Follow it OR go back to the seller of the motor for more info.
