The flow of hot water has reduced and the water is very hot the cold water flow has not been affected what could the problem be

Temperature of water is controlled by thermostat setting.
Water flow is set by in/output valve as you do not mention problems with the cold waterflow.
Please check these two first.
There also can be an obstruction inside the boiler.
