Sleep, what's that? Starby, I went straight to bed after we got off the phone, snuggled in and actually started to fall asleep, all of a sudden there's a scratch on the door. Mr. Indy, can't hold his bladder for more than 5 minutes, mutt had to go outside. I tried to ignore him, I was in the zone and didn't want to get up and lose it, but he insisted. So I got up, let him out and crawled back in to bed. Wiggy was due home any minute, I figured he could let Indy in then (Indy can get in to the garage without me being there). Well, that wasn't going to happen, I started falling asleep again, in the zone, when "woof, woof, scratch, scratch" so had to get up again to let him in. After all of that I was wide awake, couldn't find the zone again and didn't sleep a wink. Arrrrrrr, I need SLEEP! :(

I'm not really angry, just annoyed and concerned. It's people like him that ruin things for others. He's posting on allot of newbie threads, kids with serious questions and saying mean hurtful things. Afternoon all. I am beat. Sydney was up all night, fever of 103.5, poor wee mite, poor little girl. She cried all night and all I could do was hold her and rub her back. I hate not having the answers when my kids are hurting, it sucks. She's still sleeping, which is what she needs, but I don't like the fever part of it. Last time she had a fever she ended up going in to convulsions, we had to call an ambulance and rush her to the hospital, she wouldn't wake up. That was the scariest day of my life, I'd rather not repeat it. Sigh, need some encouragement here, anyone?

I'm over on the other coast in Connecticut. Little outside Hartford, but CT isn't that big to begin with, so pretty much everything is close to Hartford.

Like I said, I enjoy all the outside stuff. I built a fire pit in the backyard and am looking to build either a horse shoe pit or a volleyball court out there as well. I bought myself a on road/off road bike a few weeks ago and I have been having fun with that. It was almost a post-breakup present for myself :D

I pretty much like anything competitive and anything which involves my friends. I'm in the process of trying to become more outgoing as I have a history of being shy and that just isn't going to cut it anymore. I know people say you shouldn't try to change who you are, but I don't like being shy :)

I paid payment to our Vet in Alaska for over a year after our Dog Sara died... I wouldn't have changed a thing, we thought we could, but we just couldn't save her. Ohhh she was a big ole love... hair everywhere, ate out of the garbage, ate a big ole raw turkey out of the sink (we were defrosting it)... oh yes, she was a lovely dog, I do so miss her!

The vet that I go to just changed owners, so they run things different than they used to. I used to be able to have them bill me, and just pay whatever I could per month. Now they require half upfront, and they don't have a pymt system in place yet, so I have to make it in 3 pymts total!

She ate four cubes of butter, and a broken hip from trying ot skate with the kids on our home made pond... Pretty sad...

They sure are great to have around kids, they are so peacful when the kids play with them and they never get mad at them when they accidentally step on their toes or ride on their backs... LOL
Ohhh Peace... do you hear that, no nothing... just me and the animals;) That's nice!

The Labs seem to be one of the best breeds with kids. They are a patient and gentle bunch. Niki is crossed with Lab, and she used to play with the little 2yr old girl that lived next door. She would throw Nik's ball (about a foot, haha) and ask for her eeesh (leash), and she would walk her around our yards. It was so cute because Niki would just walk very slow so she wouldn't pull her over. In fact she is good with all animals too. Well, or was! We'll have to see how that goes.
