Hey Guys, what I'm about to ask the physio or sports physician couldn't answer. My GF gets a sharp pain in her lower back and it goes through her bum and top of her legs. It last for a couple of hours and aches sometimes any ideas at all?? I suffered from biolateral stress fractures in my lumber spine and am worried about her if she don't receive the right treatment.

When people say 'the doctor couldn't give me an answer' I have to wonder if they were giving the doctor enough information to make an informed diagnoses. Could be you have to go to a regular doctor in order to get a referral to a good specialist or a chiropractor. Physios are pretty knowledgeable as far as I know. I have been to one or two and got a good diagnosis and help. Back pain can be a real cincher for regular activities and I hope you get the right kind of specialist. Could be she needs some x rays.
