I have two felonies on my record, one is to be removed when I finish probation. I was going to plan a trip to the galapagos islands in brazile but I don't know if I can get a passport. Please help. :confused:

I don't see anything on this website about it, but you ought to talk with you probation officer.

BTW, the Galapagos Islands aren't in Brazil... they are a province of Ecuador.

Be sure you finish your probation before you decide to leave the country. Get your passport and obey all the laws of the country that you visit.

First not sure why anyone would want to go there but?

There is no restrictions on getting a passport, it is only a federal form of ID. There are restrictions for getting a visa to enter various nations, so you will need to contact them to find that out though a local embassy.

Also your probation officer will have to OK it.
