I don't know much about washing machines. Mine started leaking out the bottom-front recently. Can anyone fill me in on some common causes and solutions to this problem?

Could be the tub seal or the pump hose. Only way to tell for sure is to open unit up and check. Id not mechanically inclined, I would call for service.

The unit is somewhat old so I don't really want to pay a guy $60 or something to tell me I need a new one. So, I think I am going to give it a shot myself. Got to learn this stuff sometime. So, any advice on what to look for or where to start would be appreciated.
