I have a 5 yr old jack russelXminitaure american eskimo. He has been peeing in the house. This has been going on for about the last 2 months. At first we thought that it was just an "accident", but the accidents seem to be ocurring more and more. The pee is never in the same place it is in several different rooms. He also has not been want ing to eat his dry food for the last few days, but he will eat it is we mix in a little "people food" with it. We just tried a spoon of gravy with it and he ate it all.

It sounds like your dog is taking over and becoming alpha dog. Has he been neutered? If not, that will help in several ways, plus give him a longer life.

Yes he has been neutered, it was done when he was a puppy.

First off, stop spoiling him with people food, it's really bad for their teeth, my mom spoils my dog at her house by putting wet dog food mix with dry and he eventually refused to eat it. So, at first I started putting a little warm water and stirring it up and eventually nothing, the dog is being stubborn by not eating it, leave it out, and don't feel bad if he's not eating, he will come around when he's hungry.
As for peeing in the house, the dog is definitely being alpha, he pees, you clean it up thus masking it with your sent, then he pees right on top of it. If it's carpet, get it professionally cleaned, then block the room off for a few months, he'll forget about it.. ;)

If it's an alpha-dog problem, descenting the spot won't help. He'll pee in other places. Like I said, check similar questions that were asked on this site and also go to your public library to get a book on this -- 636.7 or ask a reference librarian for help in finding books.

Lots more walks! Your dog is a jack russel mix so there is a lot of energy in that dog! Also your dog will eat his food without anything in it. It may take a day or two but nature kicks in and a healthy dog will never starve itself! People food is extremely bad for dogs, in most cases it cuts a dogs life almost in half. It promotes obesity, which will then promote other health issues such as diabetes, heart problem, liver and kidney problems etc.
