I am trying to determine my filing status ( Non Resident Alien / Resident Alien) for income earned during calendar year 2007 and to file taxes for the same now.

Arrived in US - Aug 2003 on F1
Changed to H1 B - Sep 2005 till date

I need to know when I file for taxes in 2008 for income earned in 2007, do I file as a resdient alien or non-resident alien.

How did you file your 2006 tax return? You were resident for tax purpose even for 2006.

File 2007 as resident. If you file 2006 as nonresident, then file 1040X with properly done Form 1040.
