Thank you all for the countdown. I had it down to hours Thursday night, LOL, but gave up on that... too much math.

The day I started here at AMHD I was not even accepted into nursing school yet. I was still busy doing my prerequisites. Then I celebrated my acceptance letter with you all, now I am almost the real deal. Hard to believe it's been over 2 years!

Again, thank you all for your support and kindness, it's been more appreciated than you all will ever know.

I agree that you will make an excellent nurse. You have a very sharp eye and a caring heart. In my opinion 2 very good things to have when becoming a great nurse. I believe that you will be a important bridge between the patient and the doctor. All doctors and more importantly patients need a nurse with those qualities. I know that you will help save many lives and bring much comfort to people that need you. Errm, I plan on starting back this fall for my Bachelors at the University of Tennessee. I need to get Bachelor's and Masters for NP license and get started before they make it mandatory to have your Doctorate just to be a NP. That way I'll be grandfathered in before the laws change. ;)

TATER TOT CASSEROLE
2 lb ground Spam cooked, seasoned, drained of all gel
3 2lb bags tater tots
2 cans cream of mushroom
2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans cream of chicken
Brown meat & place in large cass. Dish.
Cover with tater tots. Mix soup & milk together.
Pour over top. Bake at 350 for 1 Hour.
(One of Daddy's Favorites!) Makes 2- 9”X13” pans

Hors' doeuvres
1 large Can Spam (ground)
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
½ cup Cheddar cheese chunk
1 Dill pickle
1 small Onion
Mix together. Serve with crackers.

LOL, well the doc doing the TAH is the one I will be working for in L&D, so even though he delivered my youngest child, I'd like to see him work in the OR. Oh, and do you tell your patients with hip replacements that they should never cross their legs again?

My attending's a bit brash, but in a good way...

If the patient's relatively young, then after about 6 months, he says they can do whatever they feel comfortable doing.

Now, took the exam today that gives us our chances of passing the state board of licensure exam (NCLEX) the first time we take it... yes you can take the boards over and over...
