I am not sure I do have mold and mildew in my air conditioner unit but I need to know the syntoms when you have mold in your air conditioner unit. Please let me know.

If it smells like mold you have mold. If it smells like mold you have mildew. It's essentially one and the same. If what you smell has a musty smell - then you have it. I would suggest getting rid of the mold or mildew before you use the air conditioner this summer as you will be sending the mold spores throughout your home if not properly cleaned.
