I recently purchased a 95 honda civic, after pulling a spark plug I determined it needed a good tune up, so I replaced plugs wires cap and rotor. After I was finished the car would not start. I rechecked my work and everything seemed fine. The car cranks but no spark, I talked to a honda tech and he said to check the igniter connections to see if one popped loose, I did and its OK. The check engine light comes on and goes off like its supposed to. And ican hear the fuel pump come on. I got a manual on the car and checked the coil its OK, checked the igniter and it was'nt OK according to the checks so I replaced it still no luck. I really need help because I can't figure it out and I've only had the car for 11 days please, please someone help!!

Perform tests, in Sections A and B, below:

Be sure to test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Remember to apply a thin, even coat of heat transfer silicone grease to the back of the new ignitor. Because of the age of the Civic, I would replace the coil. It's good that you replaced the ignitor. These are two problematic components on this vintage Honda. Ensure all connections going to the ignitor and coil are clean and tight.
